Dariush Rahimi

Dariush Rahimi is a young painter from Bangladesh whose work reflects the vibrant and contradictions of daily life in Dhaka. Growing up in a working-class neighborhood, his early inspiration came from the colors and patterns of street markets, festivals, and rural traditions he encountered during family visits to the countryside. Despite limited access to materials, Dariush taught himself to draw with charcoal and recycled paper. His dedication eventually led him to the University of Dhaka, where he now studies fine arts. His recent work explores themes of memory, migration, and identity, often blending realism Dariush hopes to use art not only to tell his own story but also to represent the untold experiences of young people navigating life between tradition and change.
